Wavemakers was developed as the children’s ministry (5-10's) of Living Water and launched in 1997. As Wavemakers began we were also involved over a three year period in helping to develop a children's ministry at the Flames of Fire Conference in Mid Wales. Since then the number of activities, events and weekends we undertake has grown steadily. Wavemakers Ministries was set us as an independent organisation in November 2005 and has applied for charitable status.

We provide the children's programme for conferences, church weekends etc. but for the moment are unable to commit to running holiday clubs, although we will help with planning.

We aim to develop new resources for local churches and to adapt many of the materials we have used over the last nine years. These complete packages will be available for children's activities, holiday clubs and church weekends. We have also developed materials for use in all-age services.

For church weekends, all the materials we produce for the children are written to be in conjunction with the subject of your conference.

Any Sunday or all-age services we undertake are developed to be in line with the churches calendar or the current teaching programme.

We provide Day Conferences for children's workers. These cover a wide range of subjects and are always geared to meet the needs of the those who attend, offering both teaching and encouragement to local children's leaders and workers.

Our aim is to equip more children’s workers, to encourage the children in their care to develop personal relationships with God, and to enable those children to serve the body of Christ in their communities and beyond.
