Wave 2011 'On Eagles Wings'. This year we celebrate the fifth year of Wave. Wave was established to help churches explore the difficult, touchy and misunderstood area of All-Age Worship. To help people see that it is possible for children, youth and adults to worship together and to enjoy each other's company. Wave is not just for families but for each person involved in Church. The mornings include All - Age and Multisensory Worship and separate teaching. The afternoons have seminars and activities of various kinds and in the evenings separate worship and teaching for the children, youth and adults with opportunity for ministry and a more intimate time for each of us as individuals to soar into God's presence. Come and join with others from around the region, to learn from God and from one another, as we share, minister and eat meals together. "On Eagles Wings" In today's society of frantic activity and financial upheaval, many of us find it difficult to spend time either with God or with family and friends. Many fit Church in their busy schedule, spending enough time to ease their conscience and just enough activity (homegroups, midweek meetings or social care) to enable others to perceive that everything is alright in our lives. Alongside this, there are the normal secular things, which need to be fitted into our lives. With all this activity, how many, really find the time to soar into the heavens, to praise and worship the God of all creation? To learn at his feet and to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our path? How many of us struggle with what to do, trying to work it out for ourselves before turning for help from the 'Almighty'? Take time during Wave to lay aside the business of life, and soar into God's presence, to see things from His perspective, so that we might learn to soar first and then do. It's amazing how time in God's presence, helps us to fit more in and spend time with each other.
