Be Inspired!

Our theme for Wave 2010 is 'BE INSPIRED'

Now to him who, by (the consequence of) the [action of His] power that at work within us, is able to [carry out his purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams - To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen - so be it.

Ephesians 3: 20-21 (amplified bible)

One of the most inspirational realisations that we can come to as Christians is that is that we can do nothing.

In Luke 10 v 25 A teacher of the Law came up and tried to trap Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “What must I do to receive eternal life?”

Jesus answered with ..."you know the commandments Love the Lord your God …"

The reply from the teacher of the Law is similar to the one that many of us ask, "is that all? Surely there must be more to it that that?"

The simple answer is that there isn't Jesus did it all, and there is nothing you can do to earn it, achieve it, gain it, it is a free gift. All we can do is live it, so that others so God in us.

In Ezekiel 47 there is the story of the river that flows into the Dead Sea bringing life and fresh water. It talks of a man who gets into the river up to his ankles, then up to his waist then, so that he has to swim.

God calls us to get fully into him so that we no longer stand in our own strength but have to swim and allow the water to support us.

These will be the five day themes as we take a closer look at the book of Ephesians and seek God so that we may "Be Inspired" by what He can do in our lives as we let Him continue His work within us.
